While you are bargain shopping for college you are going to need bedding. I suggest a few tips to follow:
- Get extra-long twin sheets, [double check your dorm for specific size, if you are not sure].
- Buy prints. Your bed will double as a sofa, dining table, study space, and then some. White bedding will be ruined quickly.
- Buy as high a thread-count as you can afford. Do keep your eyes open for sales.
- Buy multiple sets of sheets. Unless you are doing laundry often, your sheets will get grungy.
- Look into a comforter and duvet cover. The type where the comforter slides into the cover, which easily removed for washing.
- Invest in a mattress pad. Dorm mattresses are notoriously hard as rock, investing in a good mattress pad, is worth it. If you can afford, look into memory foam or egg crate pads. However, wait until you hit campus before you buy the extra foam/pad, it takes lots of packing space you might not have.
- Polar Fleece Blankets? Those heading to colder climates may want to invest in a couple of extra blankets. Smaller versions are great for tossing over your shoulders when studying.

Nice to read your blog- cool!!!!
