Investigating online scholarship opportunities?

Here are a few college tips:

Step #1

Before you begin investigating, set up a completely separate email account, just for this purpose.

Step #2

Be aware when giving any information, as you might automatically be allowing your name to be sold to a third-party. READ the fine print. If this happens, your email in-box may be flooded [which is why you need to do step #1].

Step #3

Invest $9.95 in my eBook College Life Tips. You will find well over 100 tips and sound advice to help you live a great college life.

Besides your books, messenger bags pack a wallop of whatever you are toting. In this college essential, you will want to look for adjustable straps, roomy interior [with removable padding-if possible], multiple pockets and secure closures. Extra exterior pockets for cellphones or MP3 players are also nice.

Verb, Go Messenger Bag, by Briggs and Riley has it all. It’s made of nylon, with all the ergonomic bells and whistles. Consider this an investment at $167.

Should you prefer something mod, check out this Vanya Streetbag [below] created by Ella Osix.

The other day, right when I needed my printer for an urgent print, the black cartridge went dry. I dashed to the local drug store and paid $30.78 including state tax for a black printer cartridge.

Now, I try my level best not to run out of printer cartridges. In fact, when these go on sale at the local Big-Box-Store, I try to get a set [color and black cartridge together] to have as a back up. What’s my point?

Do a bit of basic math [I did]. If I dash 3 times to buy $30 emergency cartridges –I will have spent $90, plus my time dashing. I could have purchased a whole new printer [or darn near].

Lesson learned: don’t get caught with a dry or nearly dry cartridge. In fact, do what you can to conserve prints.

My Tip is to Plan Ahead.

Use your local print shop to have your papers printed out and always, have a set of back up cartridges on hand [the ones you buy on sale].

Whenever possible have old empty print cartridges re-filled.

Always dispose of old empty cartridges carefully. New cartridges come with pre-paid mailing envelopes, so they don’t end up in the local landfill.

Be Prepared:
Get these and other preparations in order when you download my
